Her passion for storytelling and dedication to the craft are exemplified by her debut film, “Summer of Violence.” It garnered numerous awards and critical acclaim, establishing her as a formidable force in filmmaking.
A fellow of the prestigious Disney/Fox Directing Program, Nicki has honed her skills behind the camera, bringing unique perspectives and innovative directing techniques to her projects. Her academic background is equally impressive, having pursued a PhD in Political Science, which informs her nuanced understanding of narrative impact and cultural representation.
Nicki's commitment to education is evidenced by her years of teaching at the Los Angeles Unified School District and her experience as a teacher’s assistant at the university level, where she taught and engaged deeply with the academic community through her artistic endeavors.
