Nate Parker and David Oyelowo are partnering with Nicki Micheaux and her online school -  to get your vertical dramas on Mansa platform.

Yes, THE Nate Parker. Writer, director, actor Birth of a Nation. And THE David Oyelowo, the actor who played Martin Luther King Jr. in Selma. They founded Mansa to create opportunities for Black and Brown creators who've been locked out of traditional Hollywood. No more begging studios to say yes. No more waiting for gatekeepers to give you permission. Mansa has been building this platform for years. They're established, they're selective, and they're looking for quality vertical dramas that connect with audiences. And here's what this partnership means for you. If you're in my course and community making a vertical drama, your work goes straight to Mansa for review. No waiting in line. No wondering if anyone will ever see it. Your work gets a real shot at being on a legitimate streaming platform.

Here's the pipeline:

  1. You take my course and learn how to write and produce vertical dramas
  2. You create your vertical drama (with support from our community)
  3. You submit your work directly to Mansa
  4. If it's selected...

Mansa handles distribution and you start earning Nate told me from idea to making money is 100 days. 100 days. Not five years of pitching. Not waiting for someone to notice you at a film festival. 100 days from concept to potential income.

This is what I've been building toward. A real pathway for creators who are ready to do the work and stop waiting for Hollywood to let them in.

I'm rooting for you,

Nicki
